We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony) is a song by British singer Frances Ruffelle from 1994. It was the country's contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest of the same year, and it came in tenth. The title means translated We will be free (Lonely Symphony) and is only known under the name Lonely Symphony . The song was written by George De Angelis and Mark Dean.

We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony) was selected as the British entry on March 18, 1994 in the national preliminary decision Song For Europe . Among the eight preliminary titles, all of which were sung by Frances Ruffelle, the song was chosen with more than 30,000 votes ahead of the runner-up Sink or Swim . In the international competition, the song was presented as the sixth - embedded between the Icelandic entry Nætur by Sigga and Nek 'ti bude ljubav sva by Toni Cetinski from Croatia . It received a total of 63 points, the highest score twice, the number 8 (from Portugal and Switzerland) and thus reached place 10, although the song was seen as one of the favorites in advance. The orchestra was conducted by Michael Reed for the contribution.

When the B-side of We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony) was Is This a Broken Heart? contain. The accompanying album Fragile was only released two years (1996) after the song was released.
