Bryan Johnson (singer)

Bryan Johnson ( July 18, 1926 - October 18, 1995 ) was a British singer and stage actor .

As the winner of the preliminary decision, Johnson was allowed to compete for the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 . With the song Looking High, High, High he reached the second place. The piece went to number 20 in the British charts. Another attempt at the British preselection for the competition the following year he was unable to win. He then became active as a stage actor and became a member of Donald Wolfit's company . Johnson was a court jester in What You Want and King Lear . In later years, Johnson starred in musicals such as Lock Up Your Daughters and A Christmas Carol .
