Lindsay Dracass (* 1984 in Sheffield ) is an English pop singer who under the stage name Lindsay D was known.
Life
She was discovered at a charity event at the age of 13 and was soon given a recording deal with Universal . The broadcaster BBC proposed the now 17-year-old school girl for the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 in Copenhagen . Although she was one of the favorites in the competition, she only reached 15th place with her dance title No Dream Impossible . In the UK singles charts, the song rose to number 32.
Later she was among other things a background singer with Paul Carrack .
Dracass has a daughter and continues to perform regionally.
