The overall ranking was won by the Norwegian Fred Børre Lundberg just ahead of the Austrian Klaus Sulzenbacher . For the other German-speaking combiners, the Swiss Hippolyt Kempf was able to get three podium places with his second place in Schonach and Bad Goisern and his third place in Oberwiesenthal .
