Albert Theodor Wilhelm von Goßler (born May 30, 1850 in Potsdam , † February 19, 1928 in Rensefeld ) was a Prussian lieutenant general .

Wilhelm was the youngest son of the Chancellor of the Kingdom of Prussia Karl Gustav von Goßler (1810–1885), Crown Syndicate and President of the Higher Regional Court in Königsberg , and his wife Sophie, née von Mühler (1816–1877), daughter of the Prussian State and Justice Minister Heinrich Gottlob von Mühler (1780–1857). Military career

After graduating from high school in Insterburg and attending the universities in Berlin and Königsberg , Goßler joined the replacement battalion of the Grenadier Regiment "Kronprinz" (1st East Prussian) No. 1 at the beginning of the war against France in 1870 as a one-year volunteer Prussian Army .
