Yingpanshan culture
The Yingpanshan culture ( Chinese 营盘 山 文化 , Pinyin Yíngpánshān wénhuà , English Yingpanshan culture ) was a Neolithic culture that formed on the upper reaches of the Min Jiang on the northwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin . The eponymous Yingpanshan site ( 营盘 山 ) is dated around 5000 years ago. It is located in a prison compound controlled by the Chengdu Military District (Chengdu junqu 成都 军区) in Mao County, Ngawa District of the Tibetans and Qiang.
The Yingpanshan site and the Jiang Weicheng site ( Yingpan shan he Jiangwei cheng yizhi 营盘 山 和 姜维 城 遗址 ) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-177) since 2006 .
The Yingpanshan site (Yingpanshan yizhi 营盘 山 遗址) has been on the list of monuments in Sichuan Province (6-3) since 2002 .
