Tangjiagang culture
The Tangjiagang culture ( Chinese 汤 家 岗 文化 , Pinyin Tangjiagang wenhua , English Tangjiagang Culture ) was a Neolithic culture in the central Yangtze River area in China. It is dated to about 5050-4450 BC. Dated.
The eponymous Tangjiagang site (汤 家 岗 遗址) in Liujia 刘家 村 village of Anquan 安全 乡 municipality in Anxiang county in the Chinese province of Hunan was discovered in 1977 and later excavated in several excavations, another, the Dingjiagang site (丁家 岗 遗址), in Li County , Hunan, in 1979. The Chengtoushan site also yielded finds from the Tangjiagang culture and provides important information about the history of rice cultivation .
