Zlatan Alomerović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Златан Аломеровић ; born June 15, 1991 in Prijepolje ) is a Serbian - German football goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Polish first division club Lechia Gdańsk since June 4, 2018 .

childhood

Zlatan Alomerović was born in the then Yugoslav city of Prijepolje , which is now in Serbia . He came to the Ruhr area with his family in 1999 at the age of eight and grew up there.

Career

After his immigration, Alomerović registered with TuS Heven . Then he played for one year each at SV Bommern 05 and SV Herbede. In 2006 he moved to Borussia Dortmund's youth department . There he played in his last A-youth season in the U-19 Bundesliga West.

In the 2010/11 season Alomerović moved up to the second team , which was then playing in the fourth-class regional league. But in the U23 there was no getting past the goalkeeper Johannes Focher . Although he was about to play against the second team of arch rivals FC Schalke 04 , he injured his ankle and had to pass. On March 19, 2011, he played his only game in the 2010/11 season in a 2-2 draw against Fortuna Dusseldorf's second team . In the 2011/12 season, the new coach David Wagner made some system changes, including a goalkeeper change after every second game. Alomerović came to his game against Schalke 04 in a 4-0 away win. At the end of the season, the U23 rose to the 3rd soccer league after Sportfreunde Lotte had lost a 14-point lead.

In April 2012, Alomerović received a professional contract and was also the third professional goalkeeper behind Roman Weidenfeller and Mitchell Langerak . In the pre-season, which he spent with the professionals, he broke his nose in a duel with Neven Subotić . On July 21, 2012 he made his debut in the third division in the 2-0 defeat at VfL Osnabrück . On May 18, 2013 he and his team won a 1-0 away win at VfB Stuttgart II ; thus the U-23 secured relegation in the 3rd division on the 38th and final day of the match. In total, Alomerović played 96 third and 16 regional league games for BVB. For the professionals he was not used as the third goalkeeper.

For the 2015/16 season , Alomerović moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He signed a two-year contract with the Red Devils until June 30, 2017. In the absence of a sporting perspective, Alomerović was "sorted out" from the professional squad in the summer of 2016 and transferred to the U-23 with other players that the FCK also wanted to give up. On August 31, 2016, he terminated his contract.

On July 8, 2017, the Polish first division club Korona Kielce signed the clubless Alomerovic. At Kielce he signed a two-year contract until June 30, 2019. A year later he moved on to Lechia Gdańsk and won the Polish Cup with the club .
