A149 (Russia)
The A149 is a trunk road of federal importance in the Russian region of Krasnodar in the Caucasus . With a length of 39 km, it is one of the shortest on the Russian trunk road network. It leads in the urban area of Sochi from the A147 (formerly M27) in the Adler district on the Black Sea coast up into the mountains to Krasnaya Polyana .
The road was given the number A149 in 2010. Before that, it had the number A148 , which was also assigned to the Sochier City Motorway (Dubljor Kurortnowo prospekta), which was under construction . The expansion of the former regional road A148, its renumbering and making it a federal trunk road took place in connection with the preparations for the hosting of the 2014 Winter Olympics by Sochi.
