The R21 Kola ( Russian Кола ) is a trunk road of federal importance in Russia . It leads from Saint Petersburg in a northerly direction through the Republic of Karelia and Murmansk on the Barents Sea to Petschenga and the Norwegian border. It is part of the European route 105 .

The road was given the number R21 in 2010. Before that, it was numbered M18 between Saint Petersburg and Murmansk (on to Severomorsk , now a regional road) and number A138 from Kola to the Norwegian border.
