The A154 is a federal trunk road in the North Caucasian Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria in Russia . It leads from the village and administrative center of Urwan to the west of Nalchik on the R217 through the Cherek valley via the settlement of Kashchatau and the village of Verkhnyaya Balkarija to Uschtulu.
The road was given the number A154 in 2010. Before that, it was numbered R291 as a trunk road of regional importance for the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. Until 2010, the number A154 carried a road in the northern foothills of the Caucasus, which connects Astrakhan via the Kalmyk capital Elista with Stavropol and today carries the number R216 .
