The A310 is a federal trunk road in Russia . It runs from Chelyabinsk to the Kazakh border. For the first 45 km to shortly after Jemanschelinsk it is developed like a motorway.
At the time of the Soviet Union , the M36 continued on the territory of the Kazakh SSR via Zelinograd (now Nur-Sultan ) to Almaty . Until the 1990s, the 232 km long section between Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk , which was partially expanded to form a motorway, also belonged to the road, when it was declared a branch of the M5 Urals .
The road was given the number A310 in 2010.
