The A 108 is a Russian trunk road that forms a ring around the capital Moscow . It is 553 km long and runs through the Moscow Oblast and on shorter sections Kaluga and Vladimir .

The street is known as the Moscow Big Ring ( Russian Московское большое кольцо (МБК) / Moskowskoje bolschoje kolzo (MBK)) - the Moscow Little Ring is the A 107 . The ring runs about 70 kilometers outside the MKAD . Since large sections of the road have concrete pavement , the road is also known as the Second Concrete Ring (Russian Второе бетонное кольцо / Wtoroje betonnoje kolzo) or Betonka for short .

Established for strategic reasons in the times of the Soviet Union, the ring was initially "secret": it was not fully recorded on road maps until around 1993, but could also be used by private vehicles. It runs particularly in the north-eastern and south-western parts, bypassing larger towns.
