Through him, among other things, the Nendinger team managed to move up to the first Bundesliga in 1966 . After three years , however, the team was relegated again, as many of the "golden generation" quit wrestling.

2005/06

In 2005, the club was runner-up in the league behind TSV Ehningen , but ahead of KSV Unterelchingen and TSV Musberg, which was one point behind . In the relegation fights achieved in this way, the Nendinger were able to prevail against the RG Lahr and the KSV Kirrlach . The best wrestler of the 2005/06 season was Florian Schwarz , who was the only “real Nendinger” who was sure to be included in the later Bundesliga team.

2006/07

The promotion to the regional league started a wrestling euphoria throughout the village, which brought an unexpected development to the Nendinger team. So the team used their vigor and surprisingly became champions of the regional league in the 2006/07 season by far from KSV Hofstetten and KSV Taisersdorf . The second team was also able to benefit from this momentum and so the promotion through the vice championship of the district class succeeded behind KG Konstanz - Volkertshausen .

2007/08

In 2007, after being promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga, after five years there was again a derby between the athletes' sports clubs from Nendingen and Tuttlingen, which further increased the audience and led to visitor records on both sides. With the home fight against Tuttlingen, for the first time in the club's history, a home fight was not held in Nendingen. With a sovereign championship in front of KSV Schriesheim and RG Hausen-Zell , the further march could be made perfect. With the promotion to the first Bundesliga, no further fights were allowed to take place in the Nendinger sports hall, which was often referred to as a "cauldron".

Previous through the acquisition of new wrestlers for the Bundesliga and the associated sorting out high-class wrestler in the second team also they celebrated parallel to success and directly the walkover for the runner in the district league behind the sttv singing and just ahead of the KSV Gottmadingen I celebrate can. With the rise, the team surpassed the first team of the local stronghold SV Dürbheim for the first time in history .

2011/12

For the 2011/12 season , the play-offs were considered desirable, but the repetition of last year's fifth place was given as the actual season goal. The departure of the neighbor KSV Aalen from the 1st Bundesliga West was seen as a loss . Ultimately, with seventh place, relegation was clearly achieved, but the play-offs were unattainable. The second team fought fifth in the Baden-Württemberg regional league and fourth in the Schwarzwald-Alb-Bodensee district class.

2012/13

In the 2012/13 season , the Ringen Bundesliga was separated again in the north and south due to two withdrawals , which again enabled Nendingen to play a derby against KSV Aalen and shortened the routes overall. As a new addition, the Musberger Frank Stäbler could be signed. Since all three ASV teams were neither promoted nor relegated, they again fought in the Bundesliga, Regional League and District Class. The first team was able to reach the play-offs as second in the southern group and then move into the semi-finals after defeating 1. Luckenwalder SC , where they narrowly failed at ASV Mainz 1888 . The second team achieved a good second place, the third the 5th.

In the 2013/14 season , ASV Nendingen moved into the quarter-finals of the German championship as second in the season south. The play-offs were held due to capacity restrictions in the Mühlau-Halle in the Schwenninger Helios Arena with more than 6,000 seats, after having switched to the arena in Geisingen the year before . The final was reached with certain victories over 1. Luckenwalder SC and ASV Mainz 1888 . This was won wafer-thin against SV Germania Weingarten . With around 6,500 spectators, the final match was the most popular wrestling match in the last 20 years. Regio TV Bodensee broadcast a special about this. The audience 's sense of togetherness was particularly noted: “We are German champions!”.
