Always again Jim (in Austria Jim is always right!, Original title According to Jim ) is an American sitcom that is tailored to the main actor James Belushi and was broadcast on the US television network ABC from 2001 to 2009 .

action

Jim is married, has three children (Ruby, Gracie and Kyle) (five children from the end of season 7, plus Jonathan and Gordon) and tries to get his life under control with a lot of humor. In addition to his wife Cheryl and his children, his sister-in-law Dana, her husband Ryan and his single brother-in-law Andy, who is also his work colleague, also play an important role.

The action takes place in a suburb of Chicago. Jim and Cheryl live in a house at 412 Maple Street. Jim is a huge fan of the Bears , Blackhawks , Bulls and Cubs, and he hates the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago White Sox .

In most of the episodes Jim gets into a precarious situation, mostly through his own fault. He then tries to cheat his way out and cover up his own mistakes, which he could if his wife Cheryl didn't always find out. In the end, however, one can often see his honest and warm-hearted character.

Charisma

According to Jim , it aired weekly primetime in the US. In late December 2008, Larry Joe Campbell announced that the sitcom had ended and the entire set had been dismantled; there was no 9th season.

The German-language first broadcast of the first season took place on December 22, 2004 on the pay-TV station Disney Channel . The German-language free TV premiere took place on October 14, 2005 under the title Jim is always right! on weekdays in the Austrian afternoon program on ORF 1 . On German free TV, the German-language dubbed version was broadcast on weekdays by RTL II under the title Immer wieder Jim .

The last broadcast on June 2, 2009 in the United States watched 4.10 million people.
