Adam John Hall (born August 14, 1980 in Kalamazoo , Michigan ) is a former American ice hockey player who played 738 games for the Nashville Predators , New York Rangers , Minnesota Wild , Pittsburgh Penguins during his active career between 1997 and 2017 , Tampa Bay Lightning , Carolina Hurricanes and Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League on the position of left winger has denied. Hall celebrated his greatest career success in the jersey of the national team of the United States by winning the bronze medal at the 2004 World Cup .

Adam Hall began his career as a hockey player in the USA Hockey National Team Development Program , for whose teams he was active in the United States Hockey League and North American Hockey League in the 1997/98 season . The attacker then attended Michigan State University for four years , with which he won the Central Collegiate Hockey Association championship in 1999 and 2001, respectively . During this period he was also selected in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft in the second round as a total of 52nd player by the Nashville Predators .

For the Nashville Predators he made his debut in the National Hockey League towards the end of the 2001/02 season . At the same time, he played six games for their farm team from the American Hockey League , the Milwaukee Admirals . For Nashville Hall was a total of four seasons on the ice, bridging the lockout in the 2004/05 season at the Finnish second division club KalPa Kuopio . With the Finns he achieved promotion to the SM-liiga as a master .

In the summer of 2006 Hall was signed by the New York Rangers , but ended the 2006/07 season at their league rivals Minnesota Wild . After one season each with the Pittsburgh Penguins , with whom he failed in the Stanley Cup final at the Detroit Red Wings in 2008 , and the Tampa Bay Lightning , the former international ran exclusively for Tampa Bay's AHL farm team Norfolk Admirals in the 2009/10 season on. For the following season he was called back to the NHL squad of Lightning and became a regular in Tampa. During the lockout in 2012 he played for the Ravensburg Towerstars .

On March 16, 2013, the hall on the waiver list was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes . On April 2, 2013, he was transferred to the Tampa Bay Lightning and immediately put back on the waiver list. From this he was selected a day later by the Philadelphia Flyers .

After a season with the Flyers, Hall moved to HC Ambrì-Piotta in the National League A in August 2014 , where he played until 2017 and during this time completed over 150 NLA games for Ambrì, in which he collected 86 scorer points. After the end of the 2016/17 season, he ended his career.

International

For the USA Hall took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 1999 and 2000 and the World Championships in 2000 , 2001 , 2004 , 2005 , 2006 and 2007 .
