Alexandra Baroness von Rehlingen-Prince , born Baroness von Rehlingen (* May 1959 in Landshut ) is a German PR - manager .

Life

Alexandra von Rehlingen comes from the Augsburg patrician family Rehlinger , which dates back to 1250. Rehlingen grew up as an only child with her grandmother in Munich and was a Waldorf student . She studied sinology and art history . She also attended the Parsons School of Design in New York City .

From 1985 to 1986 she worked as a freelance interior designer . In 1986 she founded, together with the communications expert and former press officer of the company Willy Bogner , Andrea Schoeller , the PR agency Schoeller & von Rehlingen in Munich. In the following years, Schoeller and von Rehlingen opened branches in Hamburg (1988) and Berlin (1999). The agency now employs over 30 people. Alexandra von Rehlingen is in charge of the Hamburg site, Schoeller the Munich site.

Schoeller & von Rehlingen is a public relations agency with a focus on press work , event management and event organization . The conceptual focus lies in the areas of fashion , lifestyle , luxury consumer goods , food and culture . Alexandra von Rehlingen's customers include the luxury brands Armani , Ferragamo , Krug , Pomellato (jewelry), Vivienne Westwood , La Perla (fashion), Feinkost Käfer , Montblanc and Steiff . According to the ARD talk show hart but fair, the agency "is now one of the most important agencies in Germany." According to the Hamburger Abendblatt , Alexandra von Rehlingen is one of "Germany's most important PR agents".

From March 2008 to January 2009 von Rehlingen took over the entire press work for the personality magazine Park Avenue with her Hamburg branch . The magazine was discontinued shortly afterwards. In January 2010 the agency Schoeller & von Rehlingen took over the PR work for the ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs .

For example, Rehlingen has regularly organized the gala event “Couple of the Year” for years, an award from the Montblanc company and the Gala magazine . Together with the press office of the Hamburg Senate , she was responsible for the visit program of the Norwegian heir to the throne, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway , in Hamburg. She also planned and arranged events in which Queen Silvia of Sweden attended. In 2002, Hamburg's then First Mayor, Ole von Beust , offered her the post of Senator for Culture, which she refused for professional and private reasons.

In the press and media, von Rehlingen is an expert on the topics of diplomatic protocol , etiquette , manners and social small talk . In 2008, Men's Health magazine named her on the jury for the best-dressed politicians of the year.

Von Rehlingen supports the animal rights organization PETA and is a vegetarian ; in particular, she has spoken out against the production of foie gras several times in public .

Private

In 1980 she met her future husband, the pianist and conductor Justus Frantz . During her marriage to Frantz, she coordinated his PR appointments and was involved in the organization of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival . In 1990 she was divorced from Frantz. Rehlingen is married to media lawyer Matthias Prinz for the second time . Alexandra von Rehlingen is the mother of four children (two sons, two daughters). Their youngest son was born in 2003.

She lives with her husband Matthias Prinz in Hamburg-Rotherbaum .
