The season 1957/58 the Amateur Oberliga Niedersachsen was the ninth season of the highest Lower Saxony amateur league in football . At that time it took the second highest level in the German league system. Champion became the VfV Hildesheim . In addition to Hildesheim, SV Arminia Hannover and VfB Oldenburg qualified for the promotion round to Oberliga Nord , where Hildesheim prevailed. 1. SC Göttingen 05 rose from the Oberliga Nord to the Amateur Oberliga Niedersachsen.

The relegation places were taken in the west by Sparta Nordhorn and Sportfreunde Oesede as well as SV Alfeld and FC Grone . For that rose from the amateur league Lower the SSV Delmenhorst , TuRa Grönenberg Melle and Sportfreunde Ricklingen in the Group West and the sports fans Lebenstedt in the group Ost. For the 1958/59 season, SV Arminia Hannover moved to the eastern group.
