Anita Thallaug (born February 14, 1938 in Bærum ) is a Norwegian actress and singer .

As a child, she was already active on the theater stage and participated in children's musicals. In the 1950s she was on the NRK children's program , so she also lent her voice to the character Alice from the cartoon Alice in Wonderland . From the end of the 1950s she also became active as a singer and was able to record some radio hits, for example Velg April and Elisabeth Serenade . She won the Melodi Grand Prix and was therefore allowed to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 1963 in London . Her title Solhverv did not get a point and was last along with other countries. From the mid-1960s, Anita Thallaug withdrew from the music business at her own request. But there were still a few appearances on television and on regional stages. For her 60th birthday in 1998, she appeared with me, and my friends! a jazz album of hers.
