Finn Kalvik (1995)

Finn Kalvik (born April 30, 1947 in Fåvang ) is a Norwegian folk singer and composer.

His first albums in the 1970s climbed the Norwegian charts. As the winner of the Melodi Grand Prix 1981 he was allowed to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 for his country. With his self-written folk song Aldri i Livet , however, he ended up in last place with zero points. Despite this failure, Kalvik remained musically active. The Klassisk Kalvik - Compilations of 2002 and 2005 were old pieces of it together with a symphony orchestra re-recorded.
