Inger Jacobsen (born October 13, 1923 in Oslo ; † June 21, 1996 there ) was a Norwegian singer and actress .

Live and act

Inger Jacobsen recorded her first record in 1941. With her unmistakable, typical alto voice , she quickly rose to become a popular singer in demand.

She took part four times in the " Melodi Grand Prix ", the Norwegian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest , and sang the songs - together with Jens Book-Jensen - in the semifinals of the " Melodi Grand Prix 1960 " . In 1962 she won the preliminary round with the song Kom sol, kom regn ("Come sun, come rain") and represented Norway at the 1962 Eurovision Song Contest in Luxembourg City . She reached tenth place with two points.
