Haldor Lægreid

Haldor Lægreid (born March 30, 1970 in Tromsø ) is a Norwegian musical performer .

After graduating from high school in Trondheim , Haldor Lægreid went to the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg for three years . He was then engaged as a musical actor in Germany and appeared in Cats , West Side Story and Les Misérables . In 1998, Haldor was in the world premiere of Sophie's World on the stage of the Ettlingen Lap Festival. Back in Norway he played Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar . As the winner of the Melodi Grand Prix , he was allowed to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 in Copenhagen as a representative of Norway . His pop ballad On My Own ended up in last place. This did not harm his career as a musical actor, he was soon back in Germany, in Elisabeth in Stuttgart and in Tanz der Vampire in Berlin .
