Guri Schanke
Guri Schanke (Guri Annika Schanke) (born December 14, 1961 in Østlandet , Norway ) is a Norwegian actress, singer and dancer.
Life
The daughter of the actor and screenwriter Einar Schanke began her acting career in 1982 in Oslo at the Oslo Nye Teater . Since then she has appeared in numerous well-known musicals such as the Norwegian versions of " Les Misérables ", "Summer in Tyrol" and " Annie Get Your Gun ". In addition, she can often be seen on Norwegian television, sometimes in shows, sometimes in series such as Hotel Cæsar . She was last able to show her dance skills in 2005 when she came second in the Norwegian edition of Dancing with the Stars , which is broadcast in Germany as Let's Dance by RTL . At the end of the year, the musical comedy The Spanish Fly from 1990 is broadcast in Norway , which, like Dinner for One, enjoys cult status there in Germany. During this production she also met Øivind Blunck , whom she married in 1991 and with whom she raised two children. In 2006 the singer advertised an anti-wrinkle cream on behalf of the L'Oreal Garnier group. In 2007 she was chosen by the audience to represent Norway at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest . She sang and danced the song Ven a bailar Conmigo in the semifinals, but didn't make it to the final with 18th place. In addition to her singing career, Schanke has been dubbing Walt Disney films for several years , for example the part of Pocahontas in the film of the same name and the role of Perdita in 101 Dalmatians .
