Aleksander Walmann Åsgården (born January 12, 1986 in Porsgrunn , Norway ) is a Norwegian singer .

Life

Aleksander Walmann took part in the Norwegian version of the talent show The Voice in 2012 and landed there in second place.

Walmann took part in the Melodi Grand Prix in 2017 , the Norwegian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . Together with JOWST he won the song Grab the Moment on March 11th , so he was allowed to represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev . In the final, the group landed in 10th place.

In 2018 he again took part in the Norwegian preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest , reached the audience voting and finished fourth out of ten places.
