Silje Vige

Silje Vige (born May 24, 1976 in Jørpeland , Strand ) is a singer from Norway who took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 .

Career

She celebrated her greatest success at the age of sixteen at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 , where she represented her home country Norway . The song Alle mine tankar ( Nynorsk , in German "All my thoughts"), which was written by her father Bjørn-Erik Vige, reached number five. A year later she released an album.

After that it became quiet around her. Today she works as a music teacher in Strand Kulturskole . In 2006 she performed in Norway as a singer with the band "Stonefish Brigade" from Stavanger , with whom she recorded a CD.
