Anyang ( kor. 안양 ) is a city in the South Korean province of Gyeonggi-do . It is located approx. 20 km south of the capital Seoul , to whose subway network it is connected with lines 1 and 4.
Anyang's higher education institutions include Anyang Science University , Anyang University , Daehan Graduate School of Theology , Daelim College, and Sungkyul University .
Sports
Anyang Halla plays its games in the Anyang Ice Arena .
Anyang is home to the hockey team Anyang Halla , which has been the record champions of the Asia League Ice Hockey since their fifth win in 2018 .
