Beckenhof is a part of the municipality of Berg bei Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate in the Upper Palatinate district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

geography

The hamlet is located in the Upper Palatinate Jura at 433 m above sea ​​level south of the municipality and northeast of the Schloßberg (550 m above sea level) with the Heinrichsbürg castle ruins .

history

The court is mentioned in the Haimburger Salbuch in 1515, it belonged "with all authorities" to the nuremberg and imperial city maintenance office of Haimburg castle ruins . The subject at that time was Hans Voigt zu Berg. Towards the end of the Old Kingdom , around 1800, Beckenhof consisted of two half-courtyards belonging to the Lower Hofmark Berngau. A Fleischmann family sat on both farms. The high jurisdiction exercised the electoral mayor's office in Neumarkt.

In the new Kingdom of Bavaria (1806), Beckenhof belonged to the Loderbach tax district , then to the Loderbach community until it was incorporated into Berg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria. In 1836 the repertory for the topographical atlas sheet Neumarkt reads: "Baeckerhof, E [inöde] bey Richtheim, 2 H [houses]". Today there are twelve house numbers assigned in Beckenhof.

Transport links

Beckenhof can be reached from the southwest of the municipality via a road that branches off across the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal from Heinrichsburgstraße to the south. A second access option is via Richtheimer Hauptstrasse in Richtheim , which crosses under the canal in the west.
