Bibras Natcho (also Natkho , Hebrew ; ביברס נאתכו * February 18, 1988 in Kfar Kama ) is an Israeli football player of Circassian origin who has been under contract with the Serbian club FK Partizan Belgrade since August 2019 .

Career

society

Natcho grew up in Kfar Kama, a small settlement in northern Israel, which is mostly inhabited by Muslim Circassians. The family had to move to Modi'in because of the father's business . On the recommendation of Ben Sahar , with whom he played together in the youth team, he came to Hapoel Tel Aviv . Natkho played his first competitive game for the first team in the 2006/07 season. In November 2006, at the age of 18, he made his European debut in the UEFA Cup against Paris Saint-Germain . In the following seasons, Natcho developed into one of the most important players at Hapoel.

In the spring of 2010, the reigning Russian champions Rubin Kazan became interested in the versatile midfielder after Hapoel finished the group stage of the UEFA Europa League as group winners and met Kazan in the round of 32. In March 2010, Natcho finally moved to the capital of Tatarstan for a transfer fee of € 650,000 . He signed a four-year contract and, according to media reports, earned € 500,000 per season. The midfielder also received a one-time bonus of € 250,000 for signing the contract. On October 3, 2013 Natcho helped with a goal and an assist in the 4-0 win over SV Zulte Waregem to the highest victory in the European club history of Rubin Kazan. In the 2013/2014 Europa League season , Natcho was one of the best scorers in the preliminary round. He played 147 competitive games for Rubin in almost four years and scored 32 goals.

In January 2014 he moved to PAOK Thessaloniki after his contract expired . Natcho reached the 2014 Greek Cup final with PAOK in April 2014 , in which he could not participate due to a yellow-red card from the Cup semi-final second leg .

On August 9, 2014 he moved back to the Russian Premier League, this time to CSKA Moscow and signed a four-year contract. At the end of August 2014, he managed a hat trick in his third league game for CSKA in a 6-0 win against FK Rostov . Natcho played 142 competitive games for ZSKA in four seasons and scored 28 goals.

In August 2018 he moved again to the Greek Super League , but this time to the Greek record champions Olympiacos Piraeus . Natcho played 34 competitive games for Olympiakos in the 2018/19 season and scored one goal.

In the next season (2019/20) he moved to the Serbian record champions FK Partizan Belgrade in August 2019 .

National team

Natcho was named captain of the Israeli U-19s in 2007. He was thus the first non-Jew to receive this honor. He received his first appointment for the national team of Israel in August 2009. Natcho only made his game debut on March 3, 2010 in a friendly against Romania. He has led the senior national team as team captain since March 2018 .

Trivia

When he moved to Olympiacos in August 2018, Natcho, an Israeli, and Ehsan Hajsafi and Karim Ansarifard, two Iranians, were under contract with Olympiacos. This caused outrage and protests in Iran because the mullahs of the Islamic Republic of Iran have forbidden the Islamic Republic of Iran to compete with Israelis in sports competitions against each other or together. As a result, both Iranians left the club in late August and early September 2018.
