The Diocese of Santarém ( lat. : Dioecesis Santaremensis in Lusitania ) is in Portugal situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Santarém .
history
The diocese of Santarém was on July 16, 1975 by Pope Paul VI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Apostolicae Sedis consuetudinem from cessions of territory of the Patriarchate of Lisbon and subordinated to this as a suffragan .
