Briantes is about 37 kilometers southeast of Châteauroux . Briantes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lacs in the north, Montlevicq in the northeast, Feusines in the east and southeast, Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre in the southeast, Pouligny-Saint-Martin in the south, Le Magny in the west and La Châtre in the northwest.
