geography

Sarzay is about 35 kilometers southeast of Châteauroux . The municipality is crossed by the Vauvre river and its tributary Couarde . Neighboring communities of Sarzay are Montipouret in the north, Nohant-Vic in the northeast, Montgivray in the east, southeast, Chassignolles in the south, Fougerolles in the west and southwest and Tranzault in the northwest.
