The house Brucknerallee 171 is in the district Grenzlandstadion in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).

The building was built in 1937. It was entered under No. B 113 on March 2, 1989 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

In the northern section of the Brucknerallee houses no form. 171-179, which were built between 1934 and 1937, a series of closed traufständig arranged, like single-family homes .

House no. 171 was built in 1937 as a two-and-a-half-story, two-axle row house with a garage . The eaves permanent object with a gable roof covered. Roof surfaces and cornices are taken over from the neighboring houses. The basement walls were laid out 40 centimeters thick in order to form an air raid shelter together with a lock room and gas-tight windows and doors . This facility has been preserved together with a crawl tunnel to the neighboring house. The garage was equipped with a benzene separator .

Because of the floor plan and the equipment, but also the integration into the building group 169–179, the house is definitely worth preserving.
