Bruma , real name Armindo Tué Na Bangna (born October 24, 1994 in Bissau , Guinea-Bissau ), is a Portuguese football player who is under contract with the Dutch honorary divisionist PSV Eindhoven .

Career

In the club

Bruma was born in Bissau , the capital of Guinea-Bissau . He came to Portugal with his parents as a child and was accepted into the Sporting Lisbon Youth Academy at the age of twelve . In the 2012/13 season Bruma debuted first for the B-team of the club in the Segunda Liga and on February 10, 2013 at the age of 18 years finally for the professional team in the Primeira Liga .

For the 2013/14 season , Bruma moved to Turkish record champions Galatasaray Istanbul for ten million euros . Bruma suffered a cruciate ligament rupture during a cup game against Tokatspor on January 15, 2014. To make room for another foreign player in the squad, Bruma was loaned to Gaziantepspor for the remainder of the season despite the serious injury . Bruma did not play a game for the club.

For the 2015/16 season, Bruma moved to Real Sociedad on loan . The club had a purchase option for the winger that was valid until April 30, 2016 and amounted to 7.5 million euros. However, this was not drawn and Bruma returned to Galatasaray.

For the 2017/18 season , Bruma is moving to Germany for RB Leipzig . In mid-June 2017, he signed a contract with the runner-up of the previous season until 2022. He made his debut on the first day of the game and scored his first goal in the Bundesliga as a substitute on the second day with a 4-1 goal against SC Freiburg .

The contract in Leipzig was terminated in the summer of 2019 and the striker signed a contract with the Dutch runners-up PSV Eindhoven until June 2023 . With PSV, the Portuguese qualified for the Europa League , where he was eliminated in the group stage.

In the national team

Bruma went through the Portuguese national youth teams. On April 9, 2009, he played for the first time for the U15 team in a friendly against Bulgaria and scored the 1-0 winning goal. A year later he took part in the U17 European Championship in 2010 and played all three group encounters, but retired early with Portugal. At the age of 15, Bruma made his debut in January 2010 in the U18 and in September 2010 in the U19 national team. With the latter he took part in the U19 European Championship in 2012 , where he was eliminated again with Portugal after the group stage. In March 2013 Bruma played for the U20 selection for the first time. Although he then played other games in the U19 squad, he was nominated for the 2013 U20 World Cup . During the tournament, Bruma scored five goals in four appearances before Portugal were eliminated by Ghana in the round of 16. On 10 November 2017 Bruma made his debut as part of a friendly against Saudi Arabia in the senior team .
