Violeta Bulc (born January 24, 1964 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian entrepreneur and politician as well as a former Yugoslav basketball player . She was EU Commissioner for Transport in the Juncker Commission from November 1, 2014 to November 30, 2019 .

Life

Violeta Bulc studied at the Institute of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana and graduated in 1991 with an MSc from Golden Gate University in San Francisco . In 2004 she did a Professional MBA at the IEDC-Bled School of Management in Bled . In 2000 she founded Vibacom, house for business solutions, doo.
