Burgstall Katzenmoos
Castle type : not clear
Conservation status: departed
Standing position : Nobles
Place: Elzach - cat moss

The castle stable Katzenmoos is a lost castle in the municipality of Katzenmoos belonging to Unterspitzenbach of the city of Elzach in the district of Emmendingen in Baden-Württemberg . In 1816 "traces of an old castle stable" are said to have been visible here. Nothing has survived from the former castle, which was presumably owned by the von Spitzenbach family.

In the corridor area “Wachtbühl” about 500 meters southeast of the town of Katzenmoos, another weir system can be assumed based on the name of the corridor, but there is no evidence for this.
