Amoltern Castle

The castle Amoltern is an Outbound Spur castle on 280  m above sea level. NN south of the Amoltern part of the city of Endingen am Kaiserstuhl in the Emmendingen district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was built in the 13th century and probably destroyed at the end of the 13th century. In 1973 remains of the castle's foundations were discovered in the course of land consolidations. The foundation measures around 4.5 by 5 meters.
