The castle Sheep casting is an Outbound Wasserburg south of Wyhler mill about 1000 meters northwest from the center of the village in the municipality Wyhl wyhl in the district of Emmendingen in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle was probably built in the 13th century. "The Austrian Duke Friedrich IV. Probably lent the Schafgießen moated castle and its accessories, namely the villages of Wyhl and Wöllingen , to the Endinger in 1415." ( Badische Zeitung ) In the 15th century the castle fell into disrepair and in 1813 the last remains were demolished. Today only traces of the terrain are evidence of the former castle complex.
