The castle Kiechlinsbergen even mounds called, is an Outbound hilltop castle on a hill at 255  m above sea level. NN in the corridor areas "Burg" and "Auf der Burg" southeast of the district Kiechlinsbergen of the city of Endingen am Kaiserstuhl in the district of Emmendingen in Baden-Württemberg .

During excavations in 1979 and 1980 on the hill south of the Kiechlinsbergen Castle , foundations of a medieval castle were found .

Presumably it is the foundation of a hill castle belonging to the local village nobility of Messrs . Küchlin . They exercised jurisdiction in Kiechlinsbergen in the name of the Andlau monastery as sub- governors of the Üsenberger , then as governors of the place.
