history

Never before has a Cadre 47/2 World Championship started with such a strong starting class. Were reported Ludo Dielis with 162.43 GD, Francis Connesson with 120.69 GD and Osvaldo Berardi with 112.53 GD. In a very exciting and high-class tournament, Connesson prevailed in the end. He only lost to Berardi. Ludo Dielis came second with all tournament best performances. He lost to Franz Stenzel and to Connesson. A surprising third place went to Dieter Wirtz from Düsseldorf. Dielis was the fifth player to play a game of up to 400 points in one shot at a Cadre 47/2 World Championship. That is the setting of the world record in the BED.
