Castellania Coppi ( Piedmontese Castlanìa ) is a municipality with 88 (as of December 31, 2019) inhabitants in the Italian province of Alessandria (AL), Piedmont region .

The community consists of the districts Mossabella and Sant'Alosio. The neighboring municipalities are Avolasca , Carezzano , Costa Vescovato , Garbagna , Sant'Agata Fossili and Sardigliano . Until 2019 it was called Castellania .

In March 2019, the regional administration of Piedmont agreed to the request of the municipality of Castelliani to be named Castellania Coppi in honor of the cyclist Fausto Coppi , who was born in the municipality 100 years earlier .
