Surgical mechanic
Chirurgiemechaniker is in Germany recognized apprenticeship in the craft . Its tasks include the manufacture of medical , surgical or cosmetic instruments, implants , as well as their installation and maintenance. Mainly applicants with an intermediate school leaving certificate are hired. Technology or works , mathematics and physics are named as important school subjects . Computational thinking, spatial imagination , finger and hand dexterity, good eye-hand coordination , careful work and general technical and manual skills and understanding are required as skills. education

There is little competition in the labor market in Germany and there are too few workers in the medical trade. Possible applications can arise in precision mechanics, metal processing, as a foreman or in quality assurance.
