The Chrysler Series CA was a car of the middle class , the Chrysler in Detroit produced in model year 1934th It replaced the CO series and was the cheapest Chrysler model series. The long chassis version was called the Chrysler CB series .

The car had a side-controlled 6-cylinder in-line engine with 3959 cc displacement, which delivered 93 bhp (68 kW) power. On request, a more highly compressed engine with the same displacement with 100 bhp (74 kW) was also available. The rear wheels were driven via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox with center shift. The CA and CB models were the only Chrysler models that year that didn't have the fashionable Airflow bodies . Seven different bodies were offered, which essentially corresponded to those of the previous model. The windshields were again in one piece on all models and for the first time there were front triangular windows for ventilation. All doors were hinged at the back for the first time (" suicide doors "). On the short chassis (2972 mm wheelbase), two coupés, a two-door convertible and a 2- and a 4-door sedan were offered. On the long chassis (wheelbase: 3073 mm) there was a 4-door sedan and a 4-door convertible. Both chassis were also only available with mechanics and engine cladding (chassis & cowl).

23,802 copies were made from the CA series, 1450 from the CB series. In the 1935 model year, the completely new Airstream Series C6 replaced the CA and CB series.
