The Chrysler Series CI was a car of the middle class , the Chrysler in Detroit produced in model year 1932nd It replaced the CM series and was the cheapest Chrysler model series after the smaller types were discontinued.

The car had a side-controlled 6-cylinder in-line engine with 3670 cm³ displacement, which delivered 82 bhp (60 kW) power. The rear wheels were driven via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox with center shift. All four wheels were hydraulically braked as standard. Eight different bodies were offered, which essentially corresponded to those of the previous model. The open car had a new two-part windshield in V-shape, while the closed versions kept the one-piece windshield of the predecessor. Also new was an engine suspension in rubber mounts and, on request, a semi-automatic gearbox.

18,964 copies were made from the CI series. In the 1933 model year, the revised CO series replaced the CI series.
