The Chrysler G-70 was a car of the middle class , the Chrysler in Detroit produced in model year 1926th It replaced the first Chrysler car, the B-70, and was the middle model.
The car had a side-controlled six - cylinder in - line engine , like its predecessor, but with a displacement of 3,582 cm³, whereby the output of 68 bhp (50 kW) remained the same. The rear wheels were driven via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox with center shift. All four wheels were braked hydraulically. Seven different bodies were offered, which were only slightly changed compared to the previous model. The wheelbase has been shortened slightly compared to the previous model.
In the following year, the 70 series replaced the G-70 after 72,039 units.
