The Communauté de communes de la Haute Comté is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Haute-Saône in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and currently comprises 38 communities. The administrative headquarters are in Corbenay .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2014 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

  • Communauté de communes des Belles Sources ,
  • Communauté de communes du Val de Semouse and
  • Communauté de communes Saône et Coney .

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former communes of Fougerolles and Saint-Valbert (formerly Communauté de communes du Pays de Luxeuil ) became part of the Commune nouvelle Fougerolles-Saint-Valbert . This increased the number of inhabitants and the total area of ​​the association.
