Fougerolles-Saint-Valbert is a French commune with 3,803 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Saône in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lure and to the cantons of Saint-Loup-sur-Semouse and Luxeuil-les-Bains .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Fougerolles and Saint-Valbert , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Fougerolles.
