Economy and Infrastructure
Until well into the 20th century, Errevet was a village dominated by agriculture (arable farming, fruit growing and cattle breeding) and fish farming. In addition, there are now some local small businesses. In the meantime, the village has also turned into a residential community. Many employed people are therefore commuters who go to work in the larger towns in the vicinity and in the Belfort-Montbéliard agglomeration.
The village is located off the major thoroughfares on a department road that leads from Frahier-et-Chatebier to Évette-Salbert. The closest connection to the A36 motorway is around eleven kilometers away. Another road connection is with Champagney. The railway line from Belfort to Vesoul runs north of the village , but there is no train station here.
