Aillevillers-et-Lyaumont is a commune in the French department of Haute-Saône in the Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
geography
The municipality of Aillevillers-et-Lyaumont is located between Épinal in the north and Vesoul in the south on the Augronne and Sémouse rivers , near the border with the Lorraine department of Vosges . The municipality consists of the main town Aillevillers and the five kilometers northwest of Le Lyaumont as well as the districts of Les Malagrins, La Chaudeau, Le Poiremont, La Branleure, Le Bas-de-la-Côte and Le Thièlou .
Neighboring municipalities of Aillevillers-et-Lyaumont are Le Clerjus in the north, Fougerolles-Saint-Valbert with Fougerolles and La Vaivre in the east, Corbenay in the south, Magnoncourt in the southwest, Fleurey-lès-Saint-Loup , Saint-Loup-sur-Semouse and Bouligney in the west and Fontenoy-le-Château and Trémonzey in the northwest.
history
The place was mentioned for the first time in writing in 1327. In 1808 the places Aillevillers and Lyaumont were united to one municipality. The town has had its train station since 1860 .
