Deutsche Volkheit is a German book series that was published in Jena by Eugen Diederichs Verlag . It has been published since 1925 by Paul Zaunert (1879–1959), who had been co-editor of the series The Fairy Tales of World Literature at Diederichs since 1922 . It comprises a total of 77 volumes and appeared from 1925 to 1931, according to DNB information, two volumes still in 1935. The series attempted to outline German history and popular culture from the point of view of “people” in the Goethic sense.

The Germanist and university professor Joseph Otto Plassmann (1895–1964) - a leading member of the later National Socialist research association Deutsches Ahnenerbe - contributed to the series; the Germanic Medievalist, folklorist and university professor Hans Naumann (1886–1951) - one of the main actors and speakers at the National Socialist book burning on May 10, 1933 - also.
