EHF Cup 2002/03

At the EHF Cup 2002/03 57 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home leagues for the competition. It was the 22nd edition of the EHF Cup and the IHF Cup. The defending champion was THW Kiel . The cup games began on September 7, 2002, the second final took place on May 3, 2003. In the final, FC Barcelona prevailed against Dinamo Astrakhan .

In round 1, 18 lower-rated clubs started the competition. In round 2 there were another 15 teams who had also qualified in their home leagues in the previous season, and the 8 losers in qualifying round 1 from the EHF Champions League 2002/03 . In round 3, another 9 higher rated teams including the defending champion and the 8 losers of qualifying round 2 from the Champions League entered. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg.
